About the Presenters
Robyn Moore, Ed.D. is a dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience. She began her career as a kindergarten teacher before transitioning into roles as a reading interventionist and reading specialist. Currently, she serves as a Central Office Coordinator, overseeing initiatives that support student success across the division. A proud graduate of the College of William and Mary, Dr. Moore earned her undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees there. She is deeply invested in her community, with two children—one in kindergarten and the other in third grade enrolled in the same school division where she works. Dr. Moore has a strong commitment to education and a passion for supporting students and teachers alike.
Elise Lovejoy is the founder and CEO of Express Readers and the author of the Express Readers decodable book series. She holds a BA and an MA in elementary education with 15+ years of experience in the classroom, K-2nd grade. Currently, she works with teachers across the country through professional development and program implementation to promote and apply practices based on the immense body of research on how students learn to read. Elise is also a mom to two learning readers, a pro-bono interventionist, and an advocate in her local school district.
Sharon Dunn is a seasoned educational leader and former principal of a high-poverty elementary school, where her instructional leadership significantly boosted reading outcomes, as reflected in improved ELA CAASPP results. A recognized expert in literacy and MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), Sharon has been featured in numerous webinars and podcasts. She has presented her school’s success in literacy and MTSS leadership at prestigious conferences, including the California Department of Education Title I Conference, the National ESEA Conference, The Reading League National Conference, the PaTTAN Literacy Symposium, and the ACSA Mid-State Conference. Sharon is also the co-creator of the Facebook Social Learning Group: Science of Reading for Administrators – What Teachers Want You to Know! In her current role as an MTSS Leadership Consultant, she partners with schools and districts to strengthen instructional leadership and drive improved reading outcomes.
