At the core of the Science of Reading lies the principle that explicit, systematic instruction fosters strong reading skills. However, the transformation in teaching practices extends beyond the actions of educators alone. It encompasses the active engagement of learners during both guided and independent practice.

In this edWebinar, Julia B. Lindsey, Ph.D., a distinguished expert in foundational literacy, draws from the research to explore high-impact practice routines—those pedagogical strategies that significantly influence student learning outcomes. But what exactly are these routines, and how can they be deployed in the classroom?

Join us as we reveal the secret sauce that elevates literacy instruction from bland to extraordinary. Whether you’re a seasoned educator or brand new to the world of K-5 literacy, you will gain valuable insights into the art and science of effective reading practice. Let’s unlock the potential of every learner, one impactful routine at a time!

This edWebinar will be of interest to K-5 teachers and school and district leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
