Between the pandemic learning loss and shifting curricular tides away from ineffective practices like balanced literacy, educators are hyperfocused on instruction based on the Science of Reading. However, choosing a new instructional path and implementing a new curriculum in the classroom are very different tasks.

View this edWebinar with 2021 Utah Teacher of the Year John Arthur and Principal of Meadowlark Elementary School Jacqlyn Spell as they share how they implemented a Science-of-Reading-based approach in their school and saw tremendous gains in their students. Viewers learn firsthand how Jacqlyn, John, and the full Meadowlark school increased their students’ literacy rates and get an overview for how other schools can do the same. They walk away with actionable strategies for literacy instruction and schoolwide processes to accelerate reading for all.

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to PreK-12 teachers, school and district leaders, and education technology leaders.
