Join Natalie Wexler, author of Beyond the Science of Reading, Dr. Dina Zoleo, Co-CEO of The Writing Revolution, and Serena White, former Chief Academic Officer of Monroe City Schools, current Director of State and District Partnerships, The Writing Revolution, for this compelling edWebinar on how explicit, systematic writing instruction drives literacy gains.
While the Science of Reading has transformed reading instruction, many students still struggle with writing. This edWebinar will explore how the Hochman Method, a proven, research-based approach to writing instruction, strengthens reading comprehension and elevates student proficiency in both reading and writing.
With the 2024 NAEP results highlighting a critical need for improved literacy outcomes, our speakers will discuss how integrating structured writing instruction alongside foundational reading skills leads to deeper understanding, critical thinking, and stronger communication abilities. Attendees will learn practical strategies for embedding writing across the curriculum and empowering students to become confident, skilled writers and readers.
This edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers, school leaders, and district leaders.
