The list provides a wide range of topics, and we can see the impact of the pandemic in the popularity of topics that address the crisis directly or are designed to provide some relief.
This year, more than ever, the pandemic has shown how committed, innovative, and resilient educators are in teaching and supporting their students, and has shown how much more work is needed to provide all students with an equitable education and opportunity in life. If you get some down time over the holidays, it’s a great time to catch up on some of the most popular edWebinars of 2019! This year we hosted 331 edWebinars, 46 more than in 2018. Our programs covered a wide range of timely topics for early childhood educators, librarians, teachers, and administrators. In 2019, our edWebinars had 475,000 views from educators all around the world, in 185 countries.
edWeb.net just completed an analysis of the 2016 webinar viewership stats for 2016. We hosted 260 professional learning webinars in 2016 that were viewed by 165,000 educators – an average of 635 educators per webinar. Thirty eight webinars (15%) were on early learning topics and had 45,000 (27%) of the viewers. Early learning webinars had an average of 1,160 viewers, almost twice the average of all webinars.
