The Science of Reading provides educators with the “why” behind effective literacy instruction, and professional learning programs based in this gold standard body of research provide the “how” of classroom implementation.

Watch Dr. Louisa Moats, author of the award-winning professional learning program LETRS and President of Moats Associates Consulting, Inc., and Dr. Liz Brooke, Chief Learning Officer at Lexia Learning, as they have a fireside chat about the necessity of high-quality professional learning for educators, how LETRS came to be, and what’s needed to keep kids on the right literacy track today.

Viewers gain insight from leaders in the field, deepen their understanding of how the Science of Reading impacts classroom instruction, and why professional learning is so important for all educators.

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to PreK-12 teachers, librarians, school and district leaders, and education technology leaders.
