Over the past several years, evidence-based literacy improvement programs have been implemented in districts across the country, including by Farmington Municipal Schools (FMS) in New Mexico. From adopting a common reading curriculum and revamping their ELA proficiency scales to providing professional development in the Science of Reading, FMS has done a lot of work over the past three years to raise reading achievement by 10 points.
Now that the groundwork has been laid, FMS educators are taking a close look at what’s been successful and where adjustments can be made to continue the momentum and progress.
During this edWebinar, FMS’s Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Nicole Lambson, and Jennifer Bowles, Director of Early Education, share how they’re leaning into the data to answer and address questions, including:
Join us for tangible takeaways on what to measure, how to collaborate with principals and teachers, and how to turn “bubble” students (within a few points of proficient) into literacy success stories. This recorded edWebinar is of interest to K-12 teachers, school leaders, district leaders, and education technology leaders.

In K–12, data is everywhere but it’s not always accurate, connected, or actionable. We provide district leadership teams and administrators with data they can trust: standardized, validated, and seamlessly integrated across systems. By connecting every point of information—from enrollment and attendance to IEP service minutes and districtwide purchases—to strategic goals, we equip leadership teams with the insights they need to measure progress, align stakeholders, and maximize student impact. With our tools, educators gain not only visibility but the confidence to make informed decisions that drive meaningful, measurable outcomes.
