Returning after the highly attended Science of Reading in Practice: 15-Minute Routines edWebinar, Dr. Julia B. Lindsey is back to address your questions on using decodable texts, phonics, and explicit instruction to teach students how to read and the joy of reading. Watch our speakers as they address the common challenges expressed in our first session together, like:

  • What does it mean to be efficient and effective in teaching foundational reading?
  • How is focusing on decoding different than doing more phonics?
  • How can I make foundational reading instruction more joyful?

Dr. Lindsey is joined by Elaine Shobert, an instructional leader, and Dr. Amanda Alexander, Chief Academic Officer of Scholastic.

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to PreK-5 teachers, librarians, and school and district leaders.
