Engaging students is about more than just presenting content; it’s about creating an environment where they actively participate in their learning. This involves encouraging students to talk, debate, and collaborate with their peers, turning passive listening into dynamic interaction. By integrating activities that require movement and discussion, educators can foster critical thinking and deeper engagement with the material.

In this edWebinar, you discover how to transform classroom discussions using TCI’s Response Group strategy. This dynamic teaching method promotes active participation and student collaboration, drawing on Elizabeth Cohen’s research on cooperative group work. You learn how to:

  • Boost classroom interaction with the Response Group strategy
  • Generate discussion and scholarly discourse with small groups
  • Apply research-backed methods to foster collaboration in the classroom

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to K-12 teachers.
