In this edWebinar, through an interactive experience, participants will learn three cognitive pathways to reading comprehension, composed of constrained and unconstrained skills. Then, participants will learn and practice a simple diagnostic measure of constrained skills to inform instructional placement in Tier II groups. Additional resources and recommendations will also be offered so that participants can continue improving their practice beyond this presentation.
This edWebinar will be of interest to teachers and school and district leaders of the kindergarten through elementary levels. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
