Basic math fact fluency—fluency with single-digit operations—is essential for long-term math success. When students can accurately and automatically recall basic facts, they free up cognitive space to tackle complex math, real-world problem solving, and critical thinking. Fluency also boosts math confidence and supports a growth mindset, helping students see themselves as capable math learners.
In this edWebinar, Cassie Harrelson and Jenna Mercury from ExploreLearning will share research-based, time-efficient strategies to build math fact fluency that students enjoy. You’ll learn how to lay a strong conceptual foundation, use adaptive instruction tailored to each student’s pace, and integrate game-based learning to drive motivation and retention. Key topics include:
The edWebinar will feature real-world classroom examples and a demonstration of ExploreLearning Reflex, which combines adaptive tech with engaging game-based learning. Attendees will also receive a Reflex 30-day free trial and tips for keeping students engaged during school breaks—with just 15 minutes a day.
This edWebinar will be of interest to elementary math educators, instructional coaches, and anyone supporting foundational math development.
