Lisa Tanner

About the Presenters

Lisa M. Tanner is an accomplished education leader with over 24 years of experience in teaching, coaching, and curriculum innovation for Math & Science. For the past two years, she has served as the District Director of Curriculum & Instruction for Mathematics, K-8, where she has coordinated instructional practices across schools and guided professional learning for educators. In this role, she successfully led the districtwide implementation of the new HQIM math program, Eureka Math², ensuring alignment with state standards, fostering teacher collaboration, and supporting improved student learning outcomes. A passionate advocate for student success and teacher growth, Lisa specializes in designing effective curriculum, dynamic professional development sessions, mentoring educators, and implementing innovative practices to enhance learning across diverse classrooms.

Ashley Mellies

Dr. Ashley Mellies is the Math Coach at an elementary school in Key West, Florida. She taught 4th grade for almost 10 years prior to moving into her current role as Math Coach. When she’s not helping her school grow their math skills, you can find her on her boat with her family.

Mitch Augenstein

Mitch Augenstein has been a 5th grade teacher for over 10 years in Ohio, teaching math and social studies. As a Prodigy educator since 2017, Mitch has engaged with Prodigy and implemented its vast tools with many years of students. As a Lead Teacher since 2021, Mitch has had the opportunity to share his passion and knowledge of the platform at the Ohio Education Technology Conference in Columbus, as well as at the 2025 International Society for Technology in Education Conference.

Ryan LeClaire

Ryan LeClaire is a career-long educator. He started in elementary classrooms as a teacher, has served as a district and state education agency-level administrator, and for the past 18 years has been helping organizations meet the needs of educators, students, and families in various leadership capacities. He currently serves as the Manager of District Partnerships for Prodigy Education.

Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary mathematics from Eastern Washington University and a master’s degree in educator professional development from Heritage University on the Yakima Indian Reservation in Washington State.
