computer-103577_1280In this edWeb.net EdTech Innovators webinar, attendees learned how one principal is using technology to connect students and teachers. Delsia Malone, Principal of W.E. Striplin Elementary School in Gadsden, AL, discussed how she personally models technology use for both teachers and students, and why she made the decision to incorporate technology into all aspects of her school.  Not only does she utilize a BYOD program that allows students to use cell phones in class, but she also flips her faculty meetings so that teachers can benefit from tech as well.  Delsia has also successfully received funding for MacBooks for her teachers and a 1-to-1 program for her fifth graders.  View the webinar recording to learn more about using technology to connect students with their teachers and peers.
