About the Presenters
Dr. Dan Boatman currently serves as the executive director for teaching and learning with the Fort Zumwalt School District in O’Fallon, Missouri. Prior to his current position, Dr. Boatman served as an elementary teacher, school counselor, and school principal. He earned his bachelor’s degree in elementary education, master’s degree in educational and counseling psychology, and Doctor of Education in school leadership all from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
John Barrow is the executive director of intervention and behavior support for Fort Zumwalt School District (MO). This role includes responsibilities for ongoing improvement of MTSS implementation and collaboration to ensure a continuum of support that integrates social-emotional learning to comprehensively address student needs. As a school psychologist with 26 years of education experience, John has had the opportunity to develop a professional emphasis in systems change, prevention and intervention, data-based continuous improvement/problem-solving processes, and effective collaborative practices.
