Everyone is talking about social-emotional learning (SEL), especially during this time of remote and hybrid learning. What is SEL, and why is it so important? How do we implement it effectively and what kind of difference can it make for our students, staff, and community?

In this edWebinar, Daniel Budzinski, CEO and Founder of Purpose Prep, leads a discussion around the importance of SEL and share a framework to facilitate stakeholder engagement and preparation that will allow school leaders to:

  • Accelerate their district objectives
  • Empower students for success
  • Decrease emotional distress
  • Transform their students’ lives during school and after graduation

Supplementing instruction with social and emotional learning has the potential to impact the social fabric of students’ lives, but even deeper outcomes stem from infusing SEL into every aspect of the student experience. Rather than an additional subject to fit into a busy schedule, social and emotional learning can actually fuel and drive quality academics. You may ask “but how?”

Watch us and learn the what, how, and why of SEL and strategies for creating the deeper relational connection that is so integral to long-lasting and meaningful learning.

This recorded edWebinar will be of interest to preK-12 school and district leaders as well as teachers.
