This edWebinar will explore the critical role of hands-on experiments in middle and high school science education and why they provide a superior learning experience compared to virtual simulations. We’ll demonstrate how lab videos can support teachers in preparing students for lab work, ensuring they grasp complex scientific concepts while actively engaging in experiments. Attendees will learn about:

  • The scientific benefits of hands-on learning in STEM
  • How experiential learning improves student engagement and retention
  • A case study using a lab video on the scientific method
  • How high-quality videos help students prepare for and execute hands-on labs more effectively
  • Strategies for overcoming lab challenges such as time constraints and resource limitations

Discover research-backed best practices for engaging students in science labs and learn how lab videos can improve lab prep and student comprehension. Attendees will gain access to five free lab videos that support hands-on learning in your classroom. Join us for this insightful session and learn how to maximize the impact of hands-on science labs!

This edWebinar will be of interest to middle and high school science teachers, STEM educators, and curriculum coordinators looking for practical strategies to enhance hands-on learning in their classrooms. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
