Culture and climate are at the heart of well-being and success for staff and students in our educational system. But as we reflect on this past year of pandemic “re-emergence,” it’s clear that “well-being” is in crisis in most American schools. Addressing that crisis starts with supporting the educators.

In this edWebinar, we talk about the importance of going back to the basics to revive a climate of well-being: revisiting the human skills that enable personal and relational success. We also review how devoting time to cultivating them in oneself and with others is the foundation of rebuilding a healthy culture. Viewers:

  • Develop an understanding of the human skills and how centering them across an organization contributes to culture change and revival
  • Explore how authentic, intentional learning and discussion around human skills support personal and professional well-being
  • Consider the ways in which a shared language and focus can translate to building awareness and purpose around those human skills for learners
  • Delve into how Skillsline can support achieving your vision for your school or district’s culture

You also hear directly from educators—including Principal of Batesville High School (IN), Andy Allen, Executive Director of Thrival Indy Academy (IN), India Johnson, and CEO of JobPath, Dr. Ana Greif—about how they are using human skills development to shift their cultures while supporting learners. We CAN meet this moment and redevelop cultures that lead to thriving educators and learners. Join us in making that happen!

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to teachers, school and district leaders, and education technology leaders of all levels, including adult education.
