Productive struggle is a state of engagement in which students work through increasingly challenging problems, including problem types they may not immediately know how to solve. When given the right feedback, students can persevere in this type of challenge, resulting in a robust and deep understanding of mathematical ideas while simultaneously providing educators with an opportunity to creatively facilitate learning and monitor student outcomes.
View this session to discover practical ways of integrating productive struggle into different learning environments and how it enables students to explore complex solutions and produce rich learning experiences.
This recorded edWebinar is of interest to PreK-8 school and district leaders.
