District and school leaders are grappling with the dual challenges of improving math outcomes while addressing math anxiety and the increasing concern over excessive screen time. This edWebinar focuses on how schoolwide adoption of active, movement-based math instruction can tackle these pressing issues by transforming student engagement, boosting academic performance, and fostering collaboration. Learn from experts how movement-based learning enhances math fluency, reduces anxiety, and cultivates a positive, confident approach to math.

Key takeaways include:

  • Implementing movement-based learning strategies across grade levels to drive meaningful improvements in math outcomes
  • Building math confidence and reducing anxiety through kinesthetic learning techniques
  • Supporting teachers in reducing screen time while increasing student engagement and fostering collaboration

This edWebinar will be of interest to K-5 teachers, school leaders, district leaders, and math curriculum directors and coordinators. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.

Unruly Studios

Unruly Math is the standards-aligned K-5 enhancement program that ditches the worksheets and gets kids excited about practicing core math skills. Students use Unruly Splats, which light up and make sounds when stomped on (you read that right!), to play interactive math games that challenge them to practice key concepts. Students participate in math games that challenge them to apply key math concepts through movement, collaboration, and play. By integrating Unruly Math into the curriculum, schools can help students improve math outcomes while reducing screen time.
