The loss of routine and the school environment is deeply disorienting, but together, we can unite school and home communities to create vibrant, meaningful experiences to support our students, families, and educators in our continued mission of learning. In this edWebinar, author and literacy expert Pam Allyn shares ways we can continue to support and nurture students and families in these days of unexpected transition and trauma.

Literacy is a tool for communication, connection and growth. It helps us make friends, relieves stress, and experience the joys and challenges of resilience centered learning.

Now, more than ever before, children and young adults need literacy as a vital way to maintain a semblance of normalcy, and to continue learning and growing, no matter their environment.

Join this edWebinar, as Pam Allyn provides educators with strategies to help students feel the power of their learning community in new and old ways. Using her 7 Strengths model, a research-based social-emotional learning framework she created as an anchoring tool, Pam provided concrete ways to help students learn at home with skill-centered approaches for literacy. Educators will leave feeling empowered by her techniques for sustaining joy, engagement, and skill-building that they can share with students and families.

This recorded edWebinar will be of benefit to kindergarten through middle school teachers and school and district leaders.
