Now is the new moment for independent reading! The research is clear—children need authentic, engaging, and personally meaningful experiences with reading and writing to become lifelong literacy learners. In this new era, independent reading means reading across many platforms, online and in print. As we look at a new century of learning, please watch Pam Allyn in this edWebinar as she shares dynamic new strategies for helping our students “tame the wild text” all throughout the year and master all the new ways we read.

By exploring the seasons of learning and growth for the independent reader, viewers will walk away from this session with key skills and strategies they can implement today to ensure all students find their joy and love of reading 365 days a year—at school, at home, and across the community. This recorded edWebinar will be of interest to K-8 teachers, librarians, and school and district leaders.
