Across the country, our students are significantly behind grade-level expectations in reading. The state summative results show a tremendous reading deficit that has been magnified by COVID-19.

As we begin the new school year, educators at all grade levels need a proven, easy-to-implement approach that accelerates reading success. We must make up lost instructional ground and it is not business as usual. Watch us explore four actions for the 2021–2022 academic year, along with new insights on:

  • Assessments—are you giving the right assessments to get the information you need
  • Performance—what’s hiding behind the data and how to use it
  • Action—taking drastic measures to accelerate our student reading levels now
  • Monitor—how progress-monitoring practices support acceleration

This recorded edWebinar will be of interest to teachers, school and district leaders, assessment directors, curriculum directors, academic coaches, and interventionists of the kindergarten through middle school levels.
