As districts implement multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) across the nation, many are running into logistical and practical challenges. We sometimes invest a great deal of time and resources in solving a problem that is actually symptomatic of a bigger challenge.
In this edWebinar, take a holistic look at the nature of change, including effective approaches to how MTSS and data can enlighten and inform learning. Watch the presenters discuss:
- The criticality of defining a problem and clarity of focus
- Key shifts in technology and their impact on education contexts
- An operational definition of MTSS
- How MTSS can be a vehicle for equity
- How data can turn into information and action
- How to leverage foundational elements of systems of support to provide solutions for common MTSS challenges
Educators have the power and opportunity to build district structures that are both support for MTSS and supported by MTSS. Leave with a new lens with which to view and approach your own challenges in implementing MTSS—and practical ideas about how to do so. This edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers and school and district leaders.
