Building a system of proactive Tier 3 behavior intervention for students who need it (and their teachers!) IS possible and is absolutely worth the investment. Because challenging behavior is…challenging and resistant to change, many schools resort to containing, ignoring, or removing students without actually addressing underlying needs and developing missing skills. It doesn’t have to be this way.

Join this edLeader Panel for a walk-through of essential Tier 3 behavior system components along with practical intervention strategies and real-life examples. We include a downloadable Tier 3 behavior plan template that you can make your own. Learning objectives include:

  • Understand the key components of Tier 3 behavior system planning as part of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
  • Learn evidence-based behavior intervention strategies that are practical and appropriate for schools
  • Identify common pitfalls and misconceptions related to Tier 3 behavior intervention, plus tips to avoid them

This recorded edLeader Panel is of interest to K-12 school leaders, district leaders, and those in district-level MTSS, curriculum, social-emotional learning, and special education roles.
