Nearly 60% of K-12 school districts currently feature one or more device(s) per student, and that number is expected to increase to 86% in three years, according to the Consortium of School Networking’s (CoSN) 2017 Infrastructure Survey. With this explosive growth in one-to-one (or more) computing, are our learning resources measuring up? Focusing on SAMR and TPACK models, this edWebinar showcases applications designed to transform learning as schools move learning resources to digital platforms.

This session explores the two primary approaches to technology integration: SAMR and TPACK. The SAMR model considers four levels of integration: substitution, augmentation, modification, and redefinition. The TPACK model addresses the interaction of technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge and how they relate to teaching in a technology-enhanced learning environment. All K-12 librarians, teachers and administrators interested in learning more about integrating technology into teaching and learning are invited to watch the recording.
