Join us for an interactive session designed to help you engage multilingual learners (MLs) in meaningful literacy and language practices across upper-elementary, middle, and high school classrooms. This edWebinar showcases creative strategies that give MLs multiple points of access to content, highlight translanguaging practices, and share tools you can put into practice right away.

We also explore how to foster belonging, reduce anxiety, and encourage positive collaboration among all learners—while ensuring representation in literature, curricula, and school culture. You leave this session with:

  • Practical strategies for integrating translanguaging and creative access points into lessons
  • Tools to help MLs engage deeply with content concepts and vocabulary
  • Approaches to build belonging and lower the affective filter for MLs
  • Protocols for supporting collaboration and peer-to-peer learning
  • A framework for examining your own practices and making them more empowering and inclusive

Viewers walk away with ready-to-use strategies that center ML voices, foster confidence, and support meaningful engagement in every content area. This recorded edWebinar is of interest to upper-elementary, middle, and high school teachers, school leaders, district leaders, and education technology leaders.
