About the Presenter
Dr. Lee Wright is a literacy expert, author, educator, and trainer. He began his career as a kindergarten teacher in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. For over two decades, he spent time as a literacy coach, statewide staff development specialist, and professor of education. Today, Dr. Wright trains educators on topics that focus on the importance of effective classroom management, small-group instruction, early literacy, and biliteracy. He is a co-author of two curriculum programs, Three Cheers for Pre-K and myView Literacy, from Savvas Learning Company, as well as the author of the Savvas Insights series Classroom Management for the Science of Reading and How to Align Your Instruction to the Science of Reading.
