He is co-author of the book Literacy Reframed: How a Focus on Decoding, Vocabulary, and Background Knowledge Improves Reading Comprehension (2020).
Jan Bryan, Ed.D. is Vice President and National Education Officer at Renaissance. A former classroom teacher, she presents regularly on assessment, literacy, and teacher expertise. She is a contributor to the book Literacy Reframed: How a Focus on Decoding, Vocabulary, and Background Knowledge Improves Reading Comprehension (2020).
