Equity begins with access. Considering background knowledge, interest, and culture is only part of a Culturally Responsive Approach.
In this edWebinar, we draw directly from high-stakes assessment questions to discuss methods for engaging students from across cultural and socio-economic backgrounds while accelerating assessment outcomes. We will journey from the idea of “Culturally Responsive” as a “good idea and nice to have” to consider how engaging in research-based approaches drive deeper thinking and accelerated learning.
This recorded edWebinar will be of interest to kindergarten through high school teachers, librarians, and school and district leaders.
