With AI tools in kids’ pockets, deepfakes in their feeds, and new platforms emerging monthly, yesterday’s digital citizenship lessons aren’t enough to prepare them for tomorrow’s challenges. Join Eisha Buch, former educator and current Head of Teaching and Learning at Common Sense Media, as she unveils Common Sense Media’s NEW Digital Literacy & Well-Being Curriculum—designed specifically for the realities that students face today.

Whether you’re new to digital literacy education or have been using Common Sense’s previous curriculum, this edWebinar shows you how to help students not just consume digital content safely, but also think critically, create responsibly, and maintain their well-being in an increasingly complex online world. Viewers leave with:

  • An in-depth understanding of the updated curriculum and new lessons that cover everything from healthy habits to online harms, the impact of AI, combating misinformation, managing digital overwhelm, understanding algorithmic influence, and building positive and nurturing relationships, online and off
  • Seamless transition strategies for educators already using Common Sense materials
  • Practical classroom implementation tips that work with your existing schedule

As you prepare for the new school year, we’ve got you covered with research-backed resources, ready-to-use lessons, and the support you need to tackle these essential topics from day one. This recorded edWebinar is of interest to K-8 teachers, librarians, and school leaders.
