Targeted intervention in the elementary grades can resolve many early reading difficulties—and even prevent later reading difficulties. How can we ensure our interventions target the most critical components of literacy and set students up for future reading success?
Join Dr. Chrisna Perry, an educational psychologist specializing in individual and group remediation for students with diverse learning needs, for this edWebinar as she explores the key elements of effective literacy interventions for grades K-5. Dr. Perry will share:

- Practical strategies for addressing difficulties with phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills in intervention settings

About the Presenter
Dr. Chrisna M. Perry is an educational psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with children who require academic, social, and emotional support. In 2006, Dr. Perry founded Comprehensive Learning Services with the goal of bringing academic and social-emotional healing services to the South Side of Chicago. Today, Dr. Perry and her team provide individual and group remediation to students with various learning disabilities, including: dyslexia, dyscalculia, language processing disorders, written expression disorder, and executive functioning disorder. Dr. Perry received her master’s degree in learning disabilities from Northwestern University in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and her doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
