Watch the Recording

Caught the coding bug in your classroom and ready to take your students’ computational thinking to the next level? Variables and conditionals are powerful programming concepts found in almost every language that allow students to model counting, checking, and decision making. They can be tricky but with the right examples they can be mastered and made fun.

In this edWebinar, discover the power of using variables and conditionals in both simple and complex programs. Find out how these concepts can be illustrated for beginners through interactive content and try your hand at a few puzzles along the way. Finally, see how using robots like Wonder Workshop’s award-winning Dash and Dot can be used to further showcase the trickier side of introductory programming through real world examples of code.

This recorded session will be of particular benefit to K-12 and higher education teachers, librarians, and school and district leaders, as well as technology integrationists, technology coaches, and information specialists.
