About the Presenters
Dr. Lilia Náñez serves as the Associate Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for Ector County ISD, where she is responsible for all things teaching and learning. Her responsibilities include supervising executive directors of core instruction, bilingual/ESL, CTE, special services, fine arts, and state and federal programs. A dedicated educator, Lilia was named Texas Administrator of the Year in 2005 by the Texas Classroom Teachers Association for her leadership as an elementary school principal.
Lisa Wills, Executive Director of STEM, PE/Health, and Virtual Tutoring at Ector County ISD, has worked in all areas of education, from classroom teacher, curriculum specialist, assistant principal, principal, and director of literacy to executive director of curriculum and instruction. In her current role, she works directly with the district’s online tutoring programs, including FEV Tutor, to accelerate learning for students.
Daniel Hebert, currently the VP of Product and Impact at FEV Tutor, is a mission-driven executive committed to improving the lives of students through technology, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. His experiences teaching and coaching in critical-needs school districts inform and inspire his work as a leader and partner to K12 school districts.
