Getting Started with Google Classroom for Blended Learning
In this edWeb.net webinar for The Digital Educator community, webinar presenter Chris Webb, Math Teacher at Lester B, Pearson School Board in Montreal, looked at how to create a blended classroom online by using a number of tools, including Google Apps for Education, Remind, and Learning Bird. Through using online tools and services, educators can create a blended learning environment, both online and offline. This session looked specifically at Google Classroom, to provide and deliver learning opportunities to students at home and at school. Chris explored the process of delivering learning materials to students via online services such as Learning Bird, and reminding students of tasks and learning materials by using Remind.com. The webinar also discussed opportunities to assess work via Google Classroom using Google Drive and Google Forms.
