Blended Learning Implementation for Elementary Schools: Real-Time Data, Adaptive Learning, & the CCSS

Attendees of yesterday’s webinar participated in an active discussion lead by Tom about best practices for implementing Blended Learning. Tom shared different approaches for blended learning implementation through an analysis of several elementary school case studies.  He demonstrated how blended learning can improve teaching, benefit student learning, and assist in transitioning to the Common Core Standards.  Tom covered the impact of gaining real-time data on each student’s progress and how this affects teaching methods and practices.  He also provided a critical evaluation of adaptive learning tools at the core of successful blended learning models.
