Motorcoach travel is still the most popular and cost-effective way for students to travel. Every day teachers are working with their tour operator partners to choose safe motorcoach companies. If you are planning a trip on your own, then you need to know how to select a safe company and understand how the new FMCSA hours of service rules may impact your itinerary and budget.
Not all motorcoach companies are created equal. Safety should be the number one priority on student trips and should be taken into consideration when choosing a motorcoach company. In this edWebinar, Michael J. Bowers, Safety Consultant for the Center for Student Travel Safety, shares:
- How to research bus safety before booking
- How new laws will impact your next trip
- Resources and practical tips for understanding how electronic data recorders (ELDs) are tracking bus driver hours to eliminate the types of drowsiness that can lead to crashes
All K-12 educators and administrators involved in student travel are invited to watch this recorded session. Learn how to hire a safe motorcoach company for your next school trip.
