More learning happens when the right classroom management tools are in place! In this webinar, middle school technology teacher Eileen Lennon led an exploration of tools to help you establish an engaging and productive classroom environment.

Topics included:

• Class behavior sites for every age group, from ClassDojo to ClassCraft to Google Classroom tools that measure classroom sound levels
• Timers for students to monitor their time management
• Random student selectors and random group creators to help students feel they are treated equally and fairly
• Online discussions or group collaboration to increase student engagement
• Badges as a method of classroom management

A little work at the beginning of the school year will pay dividends for the rest of the year!  Learn how to become a more effective and efficient classroom manager. This webinar will be useful for K-12 educators and administrators.

 Eileen Lennon is a technology teacher at Nathaniel Hawthorne Middle School 74 in Bayside, Queens, New York. Eileen has been a technology teacher for over 15 years. She has presented on coding and various technology tools at workshops and seminars, including educational forums throughout the tri-state area. Eileen is part of the team that developed the social media guidelines for the NYC Department of Education. She is also certified in Microsoft and Google, and is a Graphite Certified Educator and Ambassador. Eileen moderates the #NYCSchoolsTechChat and has guest moderated national chats such as #EdTechChat, #growthmindset, and #connectedTL.
