In this dynamic edWebinar, learn how all students benefit from inventing using the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s FREE resources. Viewers walk away with a classroom challenge focused on invention and intellectual property, addressing science and engineering practices and crosscutting concepts. This exploration serves as a springboard for creativity, as teachers use their insights and ingenuity to conceptualize a new invention.
This session not only aims to enhance understanding of intellectual property but also encourages educators to think like inventors, fostering a creative mindset that they can bring back to their classrooms. By the end, viewers have a solid grasp of intellectual property fundamentals and be inspired to nurture a culture of innovation and intellectual curiosity among their students. K-12 resources are shared.
This recorded edWebinar is of interest to K-12 teachers, school leaders, district leaders, education technology leaders, and out-of-school-time professionals.
