In a 2021 post for The Art of Education University, Jonathan Juravich, a 2018 finalist for National Teacher of the Year, noted that “Art Education focuses on engaging in self-discovery, goal setting, and working alongside others. Social-emotional learning (SEL) leads students through an awareness of self, processing experiences, understanding others, and making responsible decisions. The overlap of these two fields is uncanny.”

This edWebinar fully supports that belief and the presenters enjoy a beneficial (and fun) connection with educators! This session helps educators to:

  • Distinguish (and choose) between arts enhancement and arts integration
  • Create arts-focused combination-learning opportunities for the classroom
  • Support SEL strategies through arts-enhanced lessons and activities

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to K-12 teachers, school and district leaders, and curriculum coordinators.
