Failing to master culturally responsive teaching and social and emotional learning can cause you and your students to experience communication breakdowns, disengagement, and failure to thrive in the current “classroom” and beyond.

In this engaging and timely edWebinar, Reva McPollom and Katie McPollom teach you simple best practices designed to take administrators, teachers, and students to their fullest potential without complicating already complex lives. Even if you feel overworked, overwhelmed, and underequipped to deal with current challenges, this presentation will make it easy for you to implement healthy changes with grace and ease.

In this recorded edWebinar, learn to demonstrate empathy by employing two simple but powerful questions and build a foundation of trust. You’ll leave with an expanded sense of what’s possible and tools to develop a healthy and inclusive classroom.

The presenters cover:

  • What administrators and teachers need to be culturally responsive
  • How to demonstrate empathy and how empathic listening and response can help students manage challenging feelings and situations with a higher level of success
  • Creating a classroom culture where students and teachers feel safe and seen

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to teachers, librarians, and school and district leaders of all levels.
