About the Presenters

Jason Marshall is VP of Science at the Savvas Learning Company, where he’s involved with development, messaging, and school system integration of science HQIM. Prior to this role, he served as an edtech industry VP of urban education and national science consultant, among other roles. Jason began his career as a middle school science teacher in Fort Worth, TX. His experience teaching diverse, multilingual, and economically disadvantaged students helped shape his perspective, priorities, and classroom practices into ones that emphasized experiences and possibilities.

Geoff Howard is the College and Career Readiness Director with Savvas Learning Company. Geoff serves school districts and communities by helping them identify teaching and learning resources that promote access to opportunities for students while they are still in high school, for the future of their choosing, not simply by dreaming about it but actively building it. Geoff is a former social studies educator serving in the central office and classrooms across the Washington, DC area.
