About the Presenter

Rebecca Abbott is the Professional Learning Lead for The Learning Design Group at UC Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science. In her 10 years at the Lawrence, she has been supporting teachers and instructional leaders in implementing research-based science and instructional materials and approaches designed by The Learning Design Group. She also taught for over 15 years in the San Francisco Bay Area and served as an interdisciplinary K–5 instructional coach and English learner specialist.
