If you attend the live session, you’ll be emailed a CE certificate within 24 hours of the edWebinar. If you view the recording and would like a CE certificate, join the Teaching Next Generation Scientists community and go to the edWebinar Archives folder to take the CE quiz.
In this edWebinar, Helen Gooch Lianos, veteran teacher and technology advisor, will introduce middle school science teachers to the Next Generation Science Standards—from whence the standards came, how they are different, their key concepts, and a model for teaching to them—and walk teachers through a sample lesson that implements the NGSS.
Those who attend will leave better informed about the standards, how they call for new ways of teaching science, and how to find and implement content and curriculum that aligns to those standards. Middle school science teachers will benefit from this session. There will be time for questions after Helen’s presentation. Join us to learn more about the Next Generation Science Standards.
