About the Presenter
Alistair Van Moere, Ph.D. joined MetaMetrics in 2017 and is responsible for driving innovation in learning sciences and services. Previously, he was President of Knowledge Technologies, Pearson, where he managed artificial intelligence scoring for writing, speaking and math, and oversaw development and delivery of large-scale standardized assessments for K-12 students. Dr. Van Moere has worked as a teacher, examiner, director of studies, university lecturer, and test developer in the US, UK, Japan, and Thailand. He presents and publishes widely on technology and learning assessments; his Ph.D. won the best dissertation award for language testing, and he holds an MBA from Warwick Business School.
