About the Presenter
Katherine Bush is a 10-year veteran teacher at Maury County Public Schools in Tennessee and a proud alumna of MCPS and a graduate from Middle Tennessee State University. She was offered her first teaching position in 2009 in MCPS at J.E. Woodard Elementary, and has been there ever since. She teachers fourth grade and is the elementary cross country coach, Knowledge Bowl coach, ambassador for Seesaw, STEM camp leader, and a DIPLOMA teacher. Her passion and creativity has led her to develop innovative approaches and lessons to engage students’ attention. She enjoys learning, searching, collaborating, and sharing ideas that prepare kids for their futures and loves finding ways to let her students create, communicate, and think for themselves. She also enjoys collaborating with other educators to break outside the box.
