Developing strong literacy skills at an early age helps students reach their full potential, generating long-term benefits like lower risk of grade retention, increased graduation rates, and improved earning power later in life.

In this edLeader Panel, leaders learn about WORD Force, a game-based digital program for K-2 students, which is available to all schools, districts, and families across North America at NO COST. Grounded in the Science of Reading, this 15-game interactive resource is built to offer opportunities for students to learn and practice skills for beginning reading, including phonological awareness, letter-sound/letter-name correspondence, phonics, spelling, vocabulary, sight words, and reading comprehension.

Viewers receive access to WORD Force for their school or district, and learn about the EVERFI approach, which combines high-quality digital resources and wrap-around services with passionate industry partners to provide leaders with no-cost curricula, ongoing professional development, and learning insights. Join the WORD Force and empower your educators with high-quality, no-cost digital resources.

This recorded edLeader Panel is of interest to school and district leaders of the K-2 grades.
