See how a four-step model for classroom engagement has dramatically improved both teaching and coaching in Oakdale Elementary, part of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in NC. This edWebinar will provide specific insights into the steps that teachers can take to ensure they build a positive, highly engaged culture in the classroom. As the second and third months of school approach, it is the perfect time to focus on classroom engagement. For coaches looking to improve how they support teachers and help drive student engagement, this is the most effective model for putting theory into action. For leaders interested in raising the level of student engagement in their school and getting all of their coaches and teachers singing from the same sheet of music, this session is for you.

This recorded session draws on research-based practices that help create a calm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment with emphasis on:

  • Delivering precise directions to ensure student and teacher success in instructional activities
  • Creating positive momentum with positive narration
  • Implementing socially just accountability systems
  • Developing and nurturing life-altering relationships with every student

Viewers will hear directly from a teacher/coach duo that has unlocked the key to successful and sustainable classroom engagement. Bring your toughest questions and challenges, and leave with on-point answers, inspiration and next steps for successful implementation. This recorded edWebinar will be of benefit to teachers, coaches, and school leaders of PreK through high school grade levels.
