Watch Louis Shanafelt, EquatIO Product Manager at Texthelp and former math teacher, and Megan Mongelli, Technology Integration Specialist at Fort Mill School District, SC, as they present strategies to help move math instruction to the digital learning environment. The presenters uncover best practices for engaging with math students remotely, as well as how they are facilitating and assessing math outside of the classroom environment. Louis and Megan share their personal experiences and expertise as well as explore technologies that have been helpful at all grade levels.

In addition, Louis and Megan introduce EquatIO, a smart, user-friendly, STEM tool that enables teachers and students to easily create digital equations, formulas, graphs, and more directly on their computer or Chromebook. Much more than a replacement for pen and paper, EquatIO makes math subjects accessible and encourages a more interactive, collaborative approach to STEM education. And it’s free for teachers!

Viewers of this recorded edWebinar will gain important insights and tools to future-build math instruction for remote and blended learning environments, helping students to engage and participate in online math and science classes.

This recorded edWebinar will be of benefit to kindergarten through higher education teachers and school and district leaders.
