Leah AmesAbout the Presenters

Leah Ames has dedicated the last 30 years to serving secondary English language arts students and teachers. This dedication led to the creation of educational software to support students throughout the writing process. Her desire to have a positive effect on the education of students and teachers has led her to spend the last 13 years in educational publishing at Perfection Learning as a regional educational consultant. Leah holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from the University of Saint Mary and is committed to helping students and teachers develop strong literacy skills for life.

 

Kimberly VanceKimberly Vance’s career in education spans over 28 years serving as a classroom English teacher, literacy coach, department chair, curriculum writer, and professional development trainer for new hires in education and reading curricula. Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and a Texas Teaching Certificate in English for grades 6–12. She has always been proud of her dedication to helping teachers and students on their educational journey.
