Accelerating the ability to read, write and speak is perhaps the greatest challenge facing every discipline in school. The answer is simple but not easy—production of language. In this edWebinar, Kevin Baird, Chairman of the Board at the nonprofit Center for College & Career Readiness, reviews the research and outlines priority, pragmatic steps to increasing student talk for literacy acceleration using engagement, choice, and success as motivators.
